After placing the implants, we can prepare a temporary implant-supported tooth on the same day for patients who have sufficient implant stability.

This can help prevent patients from remaining completely without teeth during the healing period.

However, same-day temporary teeth are not a standard procedure for every patient.

Are Same-Day Teeth Permanent?

In most cases, the teeth we prepare on the same day are temporary teeth.

We prepare these teeth for use during the healing period. After evaluating the healing of the implants and surrounding tissues, we plan the permanent implant-supported teeth.

Therefore, “same-day teeth” and “permanent implant-supported teeth” are not the same procedure.
